Document Translation

High-volume document translation with formatting preserved and native human QC — contracts, reports, manuals, and more across 60+ languages.

Formatting preserved

Long-form documents are translated with their original layout intact — fonts, tables, headings, columns, and page structure all survive the round trip, so contracts, reports, and manuals come back ready to use. Scanned documents are handled automatically with OCR before translation.

Native human QC

Rian pairs AI speed with optional native-speaker review: an in-domain reviewer audits the machine output, correcting tone, terminology, and edge cases across 60+ languages. Most documents return within 24–48 hours; high-volume jobs are scoped on intake.

Formats and languages

Translate PDF, Word (.docx), and Excel (.xlsx) documents today, with PowerPoint and image formats coming soon. Rian supports 60+ languages, including every major business and broadcast pair, and returns a real, editable file in the same format you uploaded — not a flattened copy.

Built for high volume

Upload one document or thousands. Pricing is pay-as-you-go per page to start, moving to volume-based rates with committed-use discounts as you scale. Pro and Custom plans add API access and webhooks so document translation can run inside your own pipeline.

Secure by default

All files are encrypted in transit and at rest, processed in ISO-compliant regions of your choosing, and auto-deleted after 30 days unless you retain them in your workspace. Custom plans add configurable retention, audit logs, and export.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the translation?

Rian's hybrid model produces corporate- and legal-grade output for most language pairs. For high-stakes documents, layer optional human review on top of the AI baseline.

Will my formatting be preserved?

Yes. Fonts, tables, merged cells, headings, and layout are preserved, and the output is a real .docx, .xlsx, or .pdf you can keep editing.

Can you handle scanned documents?

Yes — scanned PDFs are run through OCR automatically before translation, so image-only documents are supported.
